[Allura is waiting for Keith at the training deck. She's changed into her body suit and she has her hair tied up. It would get in the way if she were to keep it down, after all.
[Keith pauses outside of the training deck door, taking a few deep
breaths. He doesn't want to admit to himself just how flustered and-- okay,
desperate-- he sounded in his texts, but Allura just seems to do that to
him.
But sparring is something he can focus on, so he hits the control
that slides the doors open and he enters, trying not to notice the way the
Princess looks in her uniform.]
I can see that. [He can feel his focus returning to him and clearing up. Keith is slipping into the zone, his awkward, poor excuse for flirting temporarily forgotten in the heat of combat, even if it was just practice.]
Be careful of getting too fancy, [he warns her] Don't want to be caught off-balance. [Keith lunges at her, twisting left as a feint before striking from the right.]
[She laughs a little and manages to block his attack before she tries to aim a kick to his left.] For some reason, I feel like you're the last person I should be hearing that from.
[Not that he's always particularly flashy or anything, but he does plenty of things he shouldn't do.]

Of course! I thought it would be best if we just did hand-to-hand and no weapons to warm up. Maybe we can practice with weaponry if we go for awhile.
